Stuck Hog

Thursday, May 3rd, 2012

After a few tough days of hog hunting in Texas I finally got to stick a pig! The 85-90 degree temps have made conditions tough and sent the hogs into a nocturnal pattern. So we got creative and got it done!  One more day of hunting left…take no prisoners tonight!

I’m hunting with friends from FBC in Kimberling City, MO this week at the Working Man’s Bow Ranch in Dangerfield, TX.

Hog Days Are Coming!

Friday, April 27th, 2012

I’ll be making a quick run down to Missouri this weekend to preach at my buddy Jeff’s church, then it’s off to Texas to try and stick a few pigs. With turkey tags punched in Nebraska and Montana in the last week, I’m really excited to switch gears and chase hogs in Texas. We’ll be hunting with the crew at Working Man’s Bow Ranch. In Texas, the big pigs often don’t show up until after dark. We’ll be ready for them with some pretty slick gear from the folks at Bow Lite. Their G3 Bow Lite attaches in the bow’s stabilizer hole and offers the ultimate in night-time bowhunting opportunities (where legal) and bowfishing.

I’ll keep you posted next week as the action unfolds.

Here’s a quick flic of the Bow Lite crew hunting the Working Man’s Bow Ranch….
