Runnin' Swine Patrol

Saturday, July 17th, 2010

Team member, Sean Keleher, and his buddy Bryan Hunt did a little damage on the local hogs while runnin’ swine patrol with their Destroyer 350′s near Wauchula, FL. When Bryan called and said he needed some help taking out a few hogs on their property, Sean quickly obliged. The guys slipped up to within 40 yards of several sleeping swine before the biggest one in the bunch stood up to investigate the intruders. Sean sent an arrow through the chest of the biggest one…sending it back to “sleep”. The other hogs didn’t scatter too far before beginning to root around once again. A stealthy stalk once again put the hunters within 40 yards of the unsuspecting group of pigs. The guys went on to kill two more before the dust settled, making for an action-packed afternoon of hog hunting in the deep south. Congrats fellas! Keep it up!

We used the DSD hen decoy on this opening morning set and once again, it provided lots of entertaining encounters as the birds came to investigate the imposter. Watch for this hunt coming up soon as we run turkey shows “thru the season” as we continue to bring you Reality Bowhunting…
